Singer Billy Preston was in the recording studio today (January 23, 1969) to record on The Beatles legendary “Get Back” sessions.
Billy Preston had already worked as a session musician with legendary acts like Sam Cook, Ray Charles and Little Richard.
It was during the “Get Back” sessions that John Lennon suggested Billy Preston be “the fifth Beatle.”
