R&B and Soul Legend Mavis Staples is embarking on a tour of the United States West Coast, before heading to Switzerland and select dates overseas. Known for her hits with her family group The Staple Singers (I’ll Take You There, and Let’s Do it Again among others), the 71 year old songstress still tours the world, and her voice has been sampled on works by million selling artists Salt -N- Peppa, Ice Cube, and Ludacris. She has lent vocals to everyone from Los Lobos to Ray Charles, and even made and appearance on the Cosby Show.
