This lovable nutcase is the legendary and internationally renowned grandfather of funk and the founder of the Parliament-Funkadelic MOB, taking the sonic innovations of James Brown and Sly Stone to both outer space AND Neptune while selling millions of records and concert tickets in the process.

Clinton has returned with legendary producer Bobby Eli to release George Clinton and The Gangsters Of Love.

“I’m actually just trying to stay ahead of the game,” George said in a statement from the studio of co-producer Mark Bass (Eminem, 50 Cent).

Philippe Wynne, Former Lead Of The Spinners, Inks Deal With George Clinton

Philippe Wynne, former lead singer of The Spinners, announced a deal with funkster George Clinton today (November 8, 1979.)

In an exclusive interview with Jet Magazine, Wynne explained how his relationship with George Clinton came about.

According to Wynne, he was in the recording studio one day doing background work, when he decided to spring the idea of working with Clinton upon the funk pioneer.

Clinton liked the idea and signed Wynne to an exclusive contract with his label, Uncle Jam Records.
