The Temptations made an appearance on the hit series “Shindig” today (February 10, 1965), where they performed the Gospel number, “When The Saints Go Marchin’ In.” “Shindig” was a variety show that aired on ABC from September 16, 1964 until January 8, 1966. T
“Shindig” was hosted by Los Angeles DJ, Jimmy O’Neill who created the show with his wife Sharon Sheeley and Art Stolnitz. Sam Cooke was featured in the pilot for “Shindig,” which was also the first episode to air.
