Soul singer Lyn Collins was born today (June 12, 1948).
Lyn was born in Abilene, Texas where she launched a recording career at the tender age of 14.
Her biggest hit is titled “Think (About It), from her 1972 album of the same name.
“Think (About It) was released on James Brown’s label People Records in 1972.
The song was famously sampled by Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock on the Hip-Hop classic, “It Takes Two.”
